Where Sweat Meets Spark

Event Review

What a day. On Saturday, we ran something a little different… Our first free Compatico workout, open to both members and non-members. It was a simple idea: bring people together in a space that feels energising, welcoming, and low-pressure. And it worked.

Starting Strong: Ceremony (35–45)

We began the morning with Ceremony for the 35–45 group. It was high-intensity, partner-focused, and set the tone for the day. There was a mix of familiar faces and people joining us for the first time, and it was great to see everyone connecting naturally before, during, and after the session.

Post-class, we gathered for coffee and a light round of Human Bingo, just enough to keep the conversations moving without taking over. People ended up staying much longer than planned, which is always the best sign.

Rolling Into The Trip (45+)

A good number of the morning group flowed straight into the second session: The Trip for 45+. Again, a blend of members and non-members filled the room. Afterwards, more coffees, more chats, and a very relaxed, easy energy carried through.

Why We Wanted to Try This

We know many of our events centre around dinners, mixers, and wine-in-hand moments. But there’s something refreshing about meeting people after doing something that genuinely feels good for your body. Exercise builds confidence, clears your mind, and gives you a sense of momentum, all things that translate into dating and relationships.

Even something as simple as a walk with someone can shift the dynamic. Movement makes connection feel more natural.

A Thank You to Everyone Who Came

To all the members who joined us, thank you. You showed up, tried something new, and brought great energy to the room. And to those who attended for the first time: we hope it gave you a real sense of who we are and what we care about.

We’ll definitely be exploring more events like this in future, thoughtful, low-pressure spaces where people can meet in a way that feels real and comfortable.
