How does it work?
Think of it like dinner with friends you may not have met yet!
Table of Six is all about creating more opportunities for Compatico members to meet in person, enjoy good conversation and connect over dinner at a great local restaurant.
Our events team brings together six members in a similar age range, with guidance from our matchmakers to help create a great mix around the table.
Unlike our one-to-one matchmaking introductions, Table of Six is designed to be a little more relaxed and open. You may meet people we wouldn't necessarily have introduced you to through matchmaking, but that's part of the fun. You never know who you might connect with until you give it a go!
We take care of the curation, restaurant booking and organisation. All you need to do is turn up, take your seat and enjoy the evening.
We also like to keep the restaurant location a little surprise! You'll receive the details a few days before the event.
While we aim to introduce you to new faces, you may occasionally recognise someone from a previous Compatico event. We do our best to keep familiar faces to a minimum.
The process:
Register your interest using the form below.
We curate the tables. Our events team reviews registrations, considering age, membership tier, gender balance and guidance from our matchmakers.
Receive your invitation. If you're selected for a table, we'll send you a personalised invitation with a payment link.
Confirm your spot. A $35 curation fee (excluding Humanitix fees) covers the planning, administration and organisation of your evening.
Get the details. A few days before the event, we'll send you the restaurant location and booking time.
Enjoy your evening! Simply turn up, meet your fellow Compatico members and enjoy dinner. Food and drinks are at your own expense.
How does curation work?
When registrations open, members can express their interest in attending.
From there, our events team works behind the scenes to bring together tables of six, considering:
Age range and gender balance
Membership tier and priority
Guidance from our matchmakers
The overall mix of people around each table
Our goal is to create a welcoming, enjoyable evening where members have the opportunity to meet others they may not have crossed paths with otherwise.
Please note: Table of Six is different from our personalised one-to-one matchmaking service. While we look at each group, the focus is on creating opportunities to meet and connect, rather than arranging six-way compatibility matches.
What happens if I'm not selected?
As each table has just six seats, we aren't always able to accommodate everyone who registers.
If you're selected, you'll receive a personal invitation and payment link to confirm your place.
If you don't hear from us, it simply means we weren't able to find the right table for you this time around. This may come down to the age ranges, gender balance or membership tiers of those who have registered.
Please don't take it personally! Every event brings a different mix of members, and we encourage you to register your interest again for future Tables of Six.
